Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-20

This Privacy Policy explains what information FitResol (the "App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who creates an account.

1. Information We Collect

To build and run your personalized training plan, we collect:

  • Account information: your name, email address, password hash if you use email sign-in, and Google or Apple account identifier if you use social sign-in.
  • Profile information: age, gender, height, weight and target weight, and unit preference.
  • Training information: your goal, focus areas, experience level, training recency, schedule, session duration, training location, and available equipment.
  • Health-adjacent context you choose to provide: reported injuries or physical limitations, and, where applicable, postpartum status and related recovery information. This information exists only to keep your program safe and appropriate -- it is never sold or used for advertising.
  • Recovery context: sleep, stress, activity level, and similar self-reported inputs, used only as modifiers to your program, not as medical data.
  • Workout activity: the sessions, sets, reps, weights, and performance you log while training.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to generate and adjust your training plan, schedule your workouts, track your progress, and operate core account features (signing you in, letting you reset your password, and so on). We do not use your health-adjacent information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your provider account identifier and the basic profile details you authorize, such as your name and email address. With Apple, you may choose Hide My Email; we use the private relay address Apple supplies. We never receive your Google or Apple password. Authorization tokens are stored on our server to operate sign-in and revoke Apple authorization when your account is permanently deleted.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Requesting deletion from Profile > Account schedules permanent removal after a 30-day grace period. Your account remains usable during this period, and you may cancel deletion. After the grace period, we revoke Apple authorization where applicable and remove your account and associated data. Temporary service failures are retried and may delay completion. Once deletion completes, it cannot be undone.

5. Your Choices

You can review and update most of your profile and training information directly in the App under Profile. You can change your password or email address from the same screen. Self-service data export is not yet available; until it is, you may request a copy of your data by contacting us at info@fitresol.com.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted password storage and secure session handling. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date on this page.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and authentication tokens to keep you signed in and protect sign-in, verification and password-reset flows. The phone app communicates with our API across origins. Google and Apple handle their own sign-in sessions under their privacy policies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Language, theme and offline workout data are stored on your device; workout changes synchronize to your account when online.

10. Contact
